Shukoor is an example of the American dream being alive and well. Shukoor knows what it’s like to have a dream or come up with an idea and make it a reality. In early 2000 he started his own Information Technology Company, a period which happened to coincide with the bursting of tech bubble. Lacking the necessary connections to raise crucial venture capital, he refused to give up.
Shukoor is proud of the growth of his company. He hung in there through the lean years when there were 12 quarters of consecutive losses. As of early January 2004, his company has enjoyed 14 straight quarters of 300% growth (each quarter). He has been instrumental in moving the company forward with renewed focus and innovation in the current difficult times. During the 14th consecutive growth quarters he mentored 6 employees to branch out and become entrepreneurs themselves.
